One of the nice features of DIME is its cleanliness and universality. I do
not see any benefit in limiting the kind of types that can be encapsulated
within a DIME message.

This issue may be relevant in another context - for example, if email
programs start using DIME, then it would make sense to reach an agreement
on the packaging form. Again, this is an issue at a different layer.
