Subversion Automation

Hi all,

I am tentatively looking in to how to download source code from subversion.  More than likely over HTTPS.

Can anyone give me any pointers or links or even advice to start me on my research.

I did find this but it is quite a lot. 

http://www.pumacode.org/projects/svndotnet/

 All I need to do is perform an export of the code onto a local machine.

Any help at all greatly appreciated.
