All strings are varchars. But I believe the difference lies in whether you want the site just localised, or customised. In my case, 2 clients using English wanted to different menus to display - that's not easily handled by localised resources, but is quite easy with a database system. -----Original Message----- From: Discussion of advanced .NET topics. I've used databased localisation for years, and it's worked for me - however I have several templates for a code generator to deal with the mundane code of it - be sure you're prepared for that. But that aside, it's extremely powerful.
