Creating an image with a gradient programattically

Hi all,

Does anyone have any experience of creating jpg programattically in .NET?

I need to create images for a CMS that have a gradient and can then be set
as the background for certain elements.

First up, do you think this is achievalbe?

If so can anyone give me any pointers on how this would be possible?
