I'm looking for a managed code way to validate a user account (possibly in a domain) and password, in particular one that uses SSPI. LogonUser isn't reliable because (as the docs say) the calling user sometimes needs the SE_TCB_NAME privilege. There's a link to some C++ SSPI code in the LogonUser docs that I'd rather not use if I can avoid it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/180548 This isn't an ASP.NET environment, just an existing app needing to validate credentials typed into a windows form. I keep thinking I'm missing something obvious.... Thanks Phil Wilson =================================== View archives and manage your subscription(s) at http://peach.ease.lsoft.com/archives
