Creating a system user

I'm not sure what you call it, but I want to create a user that does
not show up on the XP login screen (ex: like the ASPNET user and
various other accounts used by applications).

I've successfully created an account via the directory services APIs,
but I can't figure out how to make it not show on the login screen.
