(I was one of the developers on CAB.) The framework was designed for large scale, loosely coupled applications done with distributed teams. If you're not doing something like an enterprise-wide shell that integrates many role-dependent "applications" into the shell to cooperate in a very loose manner, then it's probably not the framework for you.
