C# - Windows Embedded Studio

With Visual Studio 2005, I can develop C# applications - at least, they show up as an option under 'New Project's. If I wish to target Windows XP Embedded, what is required. Also, is there a separate Windows Embedded Studio (or is that just a part of Visual Studio)? I am having a hard time telling from the MS links I have reviewed.
