Boy, I feel like this is my list lately - no one else has any questions? For those who have used PCAnywhere - particularly in searching for hosts on a network - PCAnywhere gives you a form with the hosts it has found to which you can connect. I need to do something similar - that is, I need to scan for computers connected on the network that are running a certain 'host' (that I need to make). So my question is, what technology/object/etc., do I search for when looking for info on how to accomplish this? I don't know the name of the technology/technique to do effective searching. Can someone please give me some good search terms/phrases? (Oh, and thanks to all of you who continue to answer questions even when you don't have many of your own to ask).
