Horizontal Scrollbar for Listbox in Compact Framework

Hi,
  I tried to add a horizontal Scrollbar to Listbox in the Compact
Framework world (Default support for HScroll is not there in .NetCF).
But I get an exception which states

"unhandled exception of type 'System.ArgumentException' occurred in
GAC_System.Windows.Forms_v1_0_3300_0_cneutral_1.dll"

Can somebody explain how can I add a horizontal scroll bar to List Box
in CF without getting this exception.
