Its an exciting time for smart clients so check out all the new stuff on http://windowsforms.net. The biggest news item is the dev lab at the MS Redmond campus. We're looking for companies starting new Windows Forms projects to come in and get hands on help from the Windows Forms team. For details see: http://windowsforms.net/pages/devlab.aspx The Microsoft Windows Forms newsgroup has been split up to better match the questions users have had. We now have the original news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.windowsforms newsgroup and also new Controls, Data Binding and, Designtime sub groups. They're available at: Controls: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.windowsforms. controls Data Binding: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.windowsforms. databinding Designtime: news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.windowsforms. Designtime We've also got a new Code Hero (Ivar Lumi's wonderful flat controls) and all the past Code Heroes are also now on the site. Hans Blomme has made a really cool NotifyIcon control. It extends the functionality of the stock Windows Forms version, and adds the ability to display balloon notifications. Finally, in order to help filter the updates, "New" icons have been added next to the new articles and samples. A "New" article or sample is defined as < 10 days old. thanks - mike You can read messages from the DOTNET archive, unsubscribe from DOTNET, or subscribe to other DevelopMentor lists at http://discuss.develop.com.
