Web/Database Developer
As InstallShield's Web/Database Developer you will be a member of a dynamic
fast-paced team, assuming responsibility for updating and maintaining
existing intranet applications as well as designing and implementing new
intranet applications that support our business.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have:
*       Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000, including writing complex
queries, using DTS to transfer data, and writing stored procedures in T-SQL
*       Experience writing applications in ASP.NET with VB.NET and C#
*       Complete HTML Fluency
*       The required skills to design, debug, and update ASP applications in
VBScript
*       Enthusiasm for documenting code and occasionally writing end-user
documentation (not exceeding 10-15% of time spent on a project).
*       Vision for recognizing opportunities to combine similar systems and
simplify existing systems, while designing and implementing a path to those
improvements
*       Experience gathering internal customer requirements and getting sign
off on agreed-upon feature lists.
*       Ability to take look-and-feel standards from our Visual Product
Design department and apply them to existing and new intranet applications.
*       Attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work
independently

Nice to have:

*       Experience with Adobe Photoshop 6 or 7
*       COM in VB
*       .NET Web Services
*       XML/XHTML in a Microsoft environment
*       Some process modeling experience to diagram business processes
before building or improving intranet applications (for the PO System, for
example).
*       JavaScript
*       Interest in / experience with / skills for developing content
management systems

EDUCATION:
BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science.
