John, I think that the list subscribers would love to hear about job opportunities on a regular basis, subject to the following conditions: (1) The postings should be about .NET software development or architect jobs (no Java or VB 6.0, no DBA, QA, or Network Engineer). In other words, the primary skills being sought should include one or more of the following: VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET. (2) You should clearly state the geographical area in the first line or two of each post. (3) You should provide a link to your reply email address, somewhere in the body of the post (to discourage people from posting resumes and other specific replies on the list itself). Rest assured that there are LOTS of people (many of them highly qualified) who are looking for jobs right now. However, it is an unavoidable statistical fact that one is more likely to come in contact with people who are already employed.
