Inquiry into Atlanta or Great Lakes Opportunities

I was wondering if anyone on the list had any insights into .NET and C#
opportunities.  I have been doing heavy object oriented software development
work (Delphi, Python and some C++) with many relational database backends
for 7+ years along with many other languages and technologies.  I am
developing a few commercial .NET C# applications during this time I am
between contracts.  I am located at this time in Atlanta and have found that
the job market here is quite weak.  My wife and I at this time want to
relocate back to the Great Lakes area where we grew up.  I was wondering if
anyone on the list had any opinions or ideas to a contract or permanent
employment in this area or in the Atlanta area.  Please email me if you
