a Sr. Lead Architect for a full-time position in Richmond, VA per the
following position description:
Responsibilities
* Scoping and estimating the technical dimension of engagements
* Assisting with the creation and presentation of proposals to clients
* Managing teams of application engineers on multiple engagements
* Performing Technical Assessments
* Creating conceptual, logical and physical architecture designs
* Leading the technical development, testing and deployment of both
custom solutions and packaged software implementations
* Working closely with the Business Consulting, Web Development and
Infrastructure Engineering teams to ensure collaborative delivery of
comprehensive solutions
* Working closely with Engagement Managers to ensure successful
overall project delivery
* Overseeing and mentoring junior developers
* Willingness to develop application components when needed
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or
comparable area of study required.
* 8+ years experience in the design, development and integration of
business software solutions with primary focus in architecting scalable web
and enterprise solutions for the Microsoft Windows 2000 and .Net platforms.
* Full life cycle development experience including technical
requirements definition, architectural design, development, QA, deployment
and configuration management.
* Core skill set including Microsoft IIS, ASP.NET, ASP, VB.NET, VB,
COM+, HTML, JavaScript, XML, SQL Server, Content Management Server,
Sharepoint Portal Server, and Commerce Server.
* Web UI design experience including exposure to Information
Architecture, Interaction Design, Workflow and Usability Concepts.
* Understanding and consistent execution of core Project Management
disciplines.
* Experience in a Consulting environment preferred.
* MUST have excellent written skills with lead role experience scoping
projects and writing proposals
* MUST have excellent verbal skills including presentation experience
* MUST have experience working various discipline areas in a matrixed
team environment
* Ability to learn quickly and have the flexibility and desire to
learn and adapt to different ways to approach engagements.
* Microsoft Certifications preferred.
