ASP or .NET Programmer - MapInfo GIS software, ALBANY, NY

Must have a minimum of two years experience performing development work in
Windows NT

One year experience working collaboratively with the GIS technical experts
in IT and customer representatives in gathering user requirements,
evaluating and assessing the requirements and making recommendations on
enterprise GIS applications that best meet organizational needs

One year experience in developing enterprise GIS applications, particularly
using MapInfo GIS software, ASP and/or .NET web forms, and VB or VB.NET
components

One year experience in planning, deploying and delivering GIS services in a
distributed environment

One year experience developing complex (n-tier) interactive web applications
using ALL of the following: VB.NET, ASP, HTML, VB Script, Java Script,
Visual Interdev in non-GIS applications

One year experience developing middle tier components using ALL of the
following: VB.NET, ADO.NET, VB, ADO, Dcom, Com+, MTS in non-GIS applications

One year experience analyzing and designing both SQL Server and Oracle
database(s)

Experience working directly with users in human services arena to develop
requirements, identify and analyze application problems, develop workable
solutions, and business process re-engineering.
