* Participates in the design of approved system improvements and
new applications under direction of a software architect.=20
* Is responsible for carrying a design forward to implementation.=20
* Performs or reviews systems analysis, design, programming,
testing, debugging, and documentation for assigned projects. Works with
support and documentation groups to provide technical and user training
and manuals for new systems and major system enhancements.
* Provides technical leadership to team and department members.
Leads through example. Mentors / influences others. Effectively works
with peers, team members, and other departments.
* Leads or participates in process improvement. Is a catalyst for
change.
* Has a thorough understanding of database design. Has good
graphical abilities and understands how to design professional user
interfaces.=20
* Has a good understanding of object oriented techniques and
patterns and standard computer science structures and algorithms.

Candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements
* 7 years of software development experience
* 4 years of Visual Basic experience
* 2 years of C# and ASP.NET experience with a demonstrable
understanding of .NET technologies
* 4 years working with Microsoft SQL Server.
* 4 years of writing web based applications.

The following skills are desirable but not mandatory
* Experience in the Time and Attendance, HR, or Payroll industries
* Experience working with and maintaining a hosted web based
application (ASP model).
