C# Specialist

Our client, a company that customizes equity trading solutions
for critical execution success, is seeking a
senior candidate for software development
activities to include complex application and
systems software design, construction/coding and
implementation. In this role you will work closely
with the architecture group to provide
architectural enhancements and development of
new technologies. You will also work closely with
existing developers to provide mentoring and
knowledge transfer of C# development practices.
Additionally you will be required to design and
implement application framework features using
C#, XML/XSLT, ADO.NET while work closely with
existing developers to identify opportunities to
re-use the current C++ code base.

Desired Skills:
                 3+ years of experience programming in C++/Visual
                 C++ or Java and at least 6 months of C#. Working
                 knowledge of .NET Framework and previous
                 experience designing/developing software
                 products from scratch. Knowledge of ADO.NET
                 and experience with sequenced, multi-cast and
                 point-to-point feeds. Software and applications
                 development experience in Java, C#, Visual Studio
                 .NET in addition to experience developing high
                 performance, multi-threaded, scaleable
                 applications. Any working knowledge of UML
                 diagrams, XML/XSLT, UML and Rational products
                 and/or the Equity business is a plus.
