Just thought I would let you know that your "Project Track" link seems to be busted... Langdon White -----Original Message----- From: Reggie Burnett [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2003 12:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [DOTNET-PRODUCTS] MySQL ADO.Net provider release This is an announcement of the latest release of ByteFX.Data, a set of open source data providers for MySQL and PostgreSQL. Binaries and source can be downloaded from http://www.sourcforge.net/projects/mysqlnet. Here is the changelog entry for this version: * MySQLCommandBuilder now implemented * Transaction support now implemented (not all table types support this) * GetSchemaTable fixed to not use xsd (for Mono) * Driver is now Mono-compatible!! * TIME data type now supported * More work to improve Timestamp data type handling * Changed signatures of all classes to match corresponding SqlClient classes Three packages are available for download. Mono compiled assembly VS.Net compiled assembly Sources If anyone who uses MySQL could try this provider out, I would greatly appreciate any feedback on bugs, features requested, kudos, complaints. Anything really! Also, a PostgreSQL provider is underway but just started so not really useable yet. Thanks for reading this and taking a look. Enjoy!
