Subject: Check out TaskVision - 1st smart client sample app

I am very pleased to announce TaskVision, our first, major smart client
sample application, went live yesterday on our www.windowsforms.net
community site!!!!

See http://www.windowsforms.net/taskvision

TaskVision is a task management solution -- which you can use for bug
tracking, handling customer service requests, managing a team out in the
field, and so on.

Above all, it provides a great source of reusable code and architectural
design patterns, demonstrating the power of Windows Forms, no-touch
deployment, localization, COM interop, GDI+, asynchronous XML Web
services, a model for taking data offline, and more!

You'll note that the TaskVision site on www.windowsforms.net points to a
discussion forum focused specifically on TaskVision and managed by the
Windows Forms team. If you have questions, that's where to send them.
We'll be on the lookout.

In March, we'll be launching Pocket TaskVision - a version of the client
built for the .NET Compact Framework. Around that time, we'll also be
launching a C# version of the source code.

thanks,
Mike Kass
.NET Framework team
