VERY interesting. Thanks so much, Sean. It is responses like that that justify my posting the question. I'd be interested in hearing impressions/feedback. I haven't actually used Infragistics components, but they've been caught in the act of unethical marketing practices in the past. I sent a strongly worded email to both the president and the marketing director of the company, and I didn't hear a word back from either. Make your own assumptions...I've made mine. See the obvious Infragistics post: http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=b29cd50f.0204160955.5185ee6c%40post ing.google.com&output=gplain See the competition's gracious (and intelligent) response: http://groups.google.com/groups?selm=%23AkISsX5BHA.1388%40tkmsftngp04&ou tput=gplain I didn't have to go through the trouble of tracking down the IP to know who that came from, though. It was as if the response was lifted directly off of a marketing brochure. I have no intention of ever providing a company with my business that would intentionally attempt to deceive me into purchasing their product. -- Best regards, N. Sean Timm mailto:[email protected]
