ActivEdit, a Server-side WYSIWYG Editor, Releases Version 3.0 for ASP.net

ActivEdit is a Browser Based WYSIWYG editor for web-based content
management developers. It's an ActiveX DHTML editing component that embeds
into a HTML form, almost exactly the way a textarea does. Generates dynamic
HTML content on-the-fly. The tool is currently being used by very large
companies and agencies of the US Government.

Activedit uses a combination of DotNet/Java, Java Script, dHTML, and
ActiveX to display the control on the web page. You can pass attributes
that can change the color, size, or visibility of almost every object that
the control uses. It uses the IE DHTMLEdit (DHTMLSafe) MSHTML Editor. The
new version provides functionality on the client side for Netscape and
Mozilla through a Java-based downloadable applet.

The much anticipated upgrade includes about a dozen major new features. One
of the most popular features is that the product functions, on the client
side, with Netscape 6.2 and Mozilla 1.0 browsers.

New features include:

 - Cleans pasted Microsoft Word Content
 - Paste button cleans content
 - A drop-down list of font colors
 - Exclude or rename block format options
 - Custom buttons
 - Ability to edit image properties
 - Extended to Netscape 6.2 and Mozilla 1.0 browers
