Yup, we're kicking out Rotor Whidbey builds daily - it's pretty exciting! We're shooting for a .NET product plus 3-6 months release date for the Rotor drop.=20 Cheers -Joel. -----Original Message----- From: Discussion of the Rotor Shared Source CLI implementation [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Sam Gentile Sent: Tuesday, November 30, 2004 3:56 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [DOTNET-ROTOR] State of SSCLI Yes Microsoft has confirmed multiple times that there will be a new release of the SSCLI reflecting the Whidbey code base. My understanding is that Microsoft will do a new release of the SSCLI after Whidbey comes out reflecting the new updated codebase. In the meantime in SSCLI.NET there is a patch posted for running the SSCLI on more recent hardware, and a couple of interesting projects. As for Windows.Forms, we now have a cross platform version of Windows.Forms that works (but is still lacking some controls) as part of Mono that you can run on Rotor as well: http://www.mono-project.com/contributing/winforms.html Miguel. =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D This list is hosted by DevelopMentorR http://www.develop.com ASP.NET courses you may be interested in: Guerrilla.NET November 29 - December 03, 204, in London, UK December 06-10, 2004, in Los Angeles http://www.develop.com/courses/gdotnetls Essential .NET: building applications and components with CSharp November 29 - December 03, 2004, in Los Angeles http://www.develop.com/courses/edotnet View archives and manage your subscription(s) at http://discuss.develop.com =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D This list is hosted by DevelopMentor(r) http://www.develop.com ASP.NET courses you may be interested in: Guerrilla.NET November 29 - December 03, 204, in London, UK December 06-10, 2004, in Los Angeles http://www.develop.com/courses/gdotnetls Essential .NET: building applications and components with CSharp November 29 - December 03, 2004, in Los Angeles http://www.develop.com/courses/edotnet View archives and manage your subscription(s) at http://discuss.develop.com =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D This list is hosted by DevelopMentor=AE http://www.develop.com ASP.NET courses you may be interested in: Guerrilla.NET November 29 - December 03, 204, in London, UK December 06-10, 2004, in Los Angeles http://www.develop.com/courses/gdotnetls Essential .NET: building applications and components with CSharp November 29 - December 03, 2004, in Los Angeles http://www.develop.com/courses/edotnet View archives and manage your subscription(s) at http://discuss.develop.com
