Problem while building ASP.Net web site

I am running into a strange problem while attempting to build my ASP.Net web
site in Visual Studio 2005. I am getting a ton of errors of the type:

error BC30451: Name 'rblRequestForMoreInfoType' is not declared.
.
.
.


Basically, there is an error message for every single control referenced in
the codebehind file of the page. All the controls are on the page, and the
names are correct, and even the web page runs correctly. I have been able to
build this same web site in the past as well, however, recently, I added a
Multiview control on this particular page, and I am guessing it is causing
this error. However, as  I said, the page runs just fine, so I am at loss to
figure out why can't I build the web site.
