Display times in client's time zone?

If I have a calendar/scheduler type application & I want to show users
in different time zones the time of a particular event in *their* time
zone, what's the easiest way to get that done?  Looks like client time
zone doesn't come over in the useragent string (right?).  Do I have to
ask users what time zone they're in?
