The client needs either XP Sp2 with .Net 3.0 installed or Vista (.Net 3.0 is
already installed). Also, a reasonable graphics card helps though not a
requirement as such.  A graphics card which supports ShaderModel 2 will
hardware accelerate WPF.  Graphics cards which don't support Shader Model 2
still work but it is best to avoid too much fancy 3D stuff.

My WPF app works reasonably well on an old Dell laptop with a GeForce 2
mobile chip and a 1GHz Intel P3.
