Re: doc to pdf

If a tool allows you create a PDF with a great deal of precision (inserting
individual elements and formatting them in code) you could iterate your way
through the Doc via automation and build the PDF on the fly. I think that
you would have to get pretty deep into the elements and formatting of both
Word and the PDF tool, but I'm sure it could be done.

It will probably still be cheaper in the long run to buy your way out, but
that depends upon how your company values developer time vs. hard cash.

Sounds interesting for creating PDFs from scratch, but how do I take a

Java-Pdf library.
