In my hands on OS X 10.4 the kill -3 and the kill -QUIT produces the expected thread dump in the same manner as on other *nixes. I just tested this on tomcat, so the output went to catalina.out, so maybe the console output is being redirected. bill Ted Neward wrote: > No, it should be a standard signal handler, installed by the VM when it starts up.
