Yeah I found that TPTP was kind of a pain to setup, but mainly because we're using Java 1.6 and you have to do things differently vs Java 1.5. Last time I tried YourKit, I wasn't impressed. Could be they've improved it. If I want to spend lots of money, JProbe has worked really well for us in the past.
