But Attilla's point about the archives is important. Is there a way to=20
keep them around and visible to the list crawlers?

since added mailing list archives to my backups...). As of this=20
writing, there are 2459 messages in that archive (with each of my posts=20
counted twice, one extra for the outgoing origina).
