Please ignore this problem .
This problem vanished after installing j2sdk1.4 and setting JAVA_HOME
variable in J2EE_HOME/bin/userconfig.bat file as
the directory of j2sdk1.4 .

Thanks,
Jitesh.

Subject: [JAVA] Problem with j2sdkee server version 1.3.1

Hello,

I have downloaded the j2sdkee1.3.1 installable from http://java.sun.com and
installed it in my m/c .

I have set the values for the environment variables J2EE_HOME and JAVA_HOME
.
I can run the cloudscape database correctly .

When I give the command j2ee on command prompt
I am getting the error message :

"Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
javax/naming/Context
        at com.sun.enterprise.server.J2EEServer.<clinit>(J2EEServer.java:53)
" .

The class file javax/naming/Context.class is not present in
J2EE_HOME/lib/j2ee.jar file .
I tried to set the class path for this file Context.class(I borrowed it from
some other m/c) separately .But I am getting the same error .
Please help me .

Thanks,
Jitesh
