JAVA

Hi, i want to develop a new application, and maybe you can help me.

I want that application run when the computer is turn on, then when the
user do an action (open a web, word, etc), it will save on a db (that
means, the db must be have a history of all users actions).

My questions are
- how java recognize when i open a document in word, or open a web, etc????
- how java would activate when i do an action ???
- do you know any class that can help me???
