We actually have some event handling (although from Win32 calls?) in the
DemoConsoleEventHandler, we register a Java object to receive and handle
console events.

But since I, like John, have only limited COM-experience, I don't know
if this is something along the lines of registering COM event sinks, or
whether this is totally "of track". Robert can you shed some light on
whether this is the case?

And, finally I am afraid the registering of the event handler is one of
the more undocumented features of Jawin, that probably only Stuart knows
the exact details of.
