newbie getting started

Hello All;

I've been reading the documentation and I really am having a hard time
getting a handle on how to start useing jawin.  I have a dll I'm trying to
access.  It interfaces with a run time database that was written by
signature.net.  No one there has yet to use this dll with Java.  I have
run the TypeBrowser on the dll and I can see the commands for the dll but
I just don't understand how to use them with jawin.  I'm not sure how to
generate the stubs or where the generated stubs go.  I realize these are
basic questions and if you could just direct me to a comprehensive article
or book that would be great.  Thanks for your time.
