IE to the front

This is probably more of a question on Windows than on jawin or automation:
I managed to easily start Internet Explorer from Java thanks to the great
services of the Jawin library.
However the window that opens up stays in the back of the Z-order, whereas
one would expect that window to come to the front.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to tackle this?
