java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com.develop.jawin.ComException

I am getting the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com.develop.jawin.ComException when calling Word 2003.  It does not happen
with Word 2000 or Word Xp and it does not happen always with Word 2003.  It
only happens on some machines.  Does anyone have a clue as to what could be
causing this?
