Roy, that sounds like an OLE Automation error. I think it usually means that
the method/property you are trying to use cannot be found. I have QB 2003 so
I can take a look.

Here is the test method I use to call everything.  It is very simple and it
is basically the same as the one in the documentation.  The method that I
was trying to use is openConnection(String,String) but to test it I am using
a couple of differnt version methods for simplicity as you also suggested. I
did remember to use the CoInitalize.

The library that it is trying to run on is a QuickBooks library so it may be
difficult for you to do anything with it.  I can put the classes that Type
Browser creates on a server so you can see them, if that would help.  They
are, obvioulsy, just stubs so they are pretty simple as such

I am trying to figure out what is failing by looking at the jawin source but
I cant seem to get a handle on it.  I dont really understand what all is
