Yes if the type browser tries to override existing methods with a different
signature in the generated code, you'll need to replace these.  The problem
in this instance is that the type library itself declares a getClass method
on one of its interfaces so the type browser faithfully generates one....

Hacking generated code is a bandaid solution, agreed?  Editing the
stylesheets, even locally is much prefferred.

Its probably faiing to do the native side of things and should drop you a
stack trace witht he reason.    Theres thousands of types that you have to
support in a TLB and perhaps Office is using a few we don't support, grab a
stack trace.

Is Office.dll a type library itself?  In the older office versions, you
loaded excel.dll or word.dll directly, they were the tlbs.  Down a type
library explorer or try to open it in visual basic's import type library
wizard to confiirm?

Strange, maybe its time we used the sourceforge mailing lists?  Although the
develop.com one has been stable over the years.  Maybe check out their faq
on mailing lists, but it doesn't look like you did anything wrong...
