.NET <> Java

Hello,
     I must admit before I start that I am a newbie to COM.  My extent of
utilizing COM is through the .NET COM Interop library generator that creates
all the libraries and calls you need for you.  The problem I am facing is
that our application is written in C#.NET and I am integrating with a vendor
who utilizes a java library.  I don't like having to do this bridge, but
what I need is a way to pass data into my running .NET application from
Java.  Currently, I have a .dll in .NET that is COM accessible that gets
instanciated in the .NET app space.  What I am trying to do is hook into
that instance of the COM object so that I can send data to the .dll from
Java by means of COM.  It was not hard for me to get .NET<>Java interop to
work with creating a .dll and calling methods; however, that was by means of
creating a new COM instance.  What I need to do is have the same COM object
that .NET is hosting be the one that Jawin calls.  I apoligize if this is a
stupid question in advance.  Thanks so much for any help!
