I'll bite.

I certainly consider nw stable enough to develop real apps on.

If you're going to say that you'd better be prepared to say what you 
think is _unstable_. If you're not prepared to stay current w/ head, the 
last release version is very stable. Stability in the development branch 
is never guaranteed in any project.

Now if you're talking about all the widgets not being polished, I'll 
grant you that one. The only way that'll happen though is if you 
contribute to them. It's hard to think of everything that you might need 
in a widget if you're not actively using it in an application.

If you want to see specific functionality added to a widget, by all 
means suggest your idea or submit a patch.

As far as the core architecture though, it's plenty stable. I'm willing 
to hazard that being able to leverage it has saved us tens if not 
hundreds of hours.
