The RFC is pretty explicit about NOT setting ANY limit on the length/
size of POST or GET request fields. Some proxies do indeed have 
problems with very long GET URLs, but that means the proxy is borken 
and nothing else.

We're still working on this = \
I know it's been mentioned by someone else recently (Michael 
perhaps?), and should probably get some attention.
