Hi Kirk,

Nice to make your acquaintance.

There's a new stable pre-release tarball available. 0.3 had some bugs
that are fixed in the new tarball, and the documentation is MUCH
better, not to mention the new logging facility. Give 0.4.0pre3 a
shot.

Heh, I think that's a bug in the manual. We do support IE 6, although
I personally develop to Moz first and then port to fix the stuff that
IE breaks.

I guess that depends on whether or not Microsoft is really going to
sue me. They've been threatening for something like 2 years now. They
send me missives demanding my domain, I tell them no. It's a weird
kind of cat-and-mouse game. We'll see what happens.

I don't really know. What I _can_ tell you is that there are several
production systems currently making use of netWindows, the largest of
which being an internal application at Kaiser Permanente, one of the
larger health care companies in the US.

Depends on what you're using it for. Many of the widgets are immature
and buggy. Others are scalable and rock solid. It's really a matter
of what someone has pushed me to do. The core of the toolkit is
fairly solid. I would feel very comfortable building new widgets on
the 0.3 release, but for getting the best widgets available, I'd use
HEAD or 0.4.0pre3. Your best bet with developing with netWindows is
to stay involved on the list, get comfortable with the code, and bug
me repeatedly when you need things fixed. This is a project that gets
things done via nagging = )

That's kinda funny. I hadn't even heard of isomorphic until I took a
new job in San Francisco 3 months ago. It turns out that my employer
is a heavy uesr of isomorphic widgets. I'm getting much more familiar
with their toolkit these days (well, as far as their docs will
allow). I won't make any stataments about the quality or effectivness
of their toolkit (supplier recommendation slippery slope, and all
that), but I will say that it's expensive.

You wouldn't be the first. Some of our better code has come from
outside contributers, especially Discerning Software and TSC.

Regards.
