For all my bitching and moaning, I need to emphasize that I am very fond of
NetWindows and it serves me very well... I got almost everything running,
and it looks ok even with the tree widget disabled and the sort_data_table
instead of the generic_data_table:

It works well in Mozilla but with some bugs on IE - I wonder if you can get
it run in Konqueror. I have also added a (non-NW) context menu (which
appears after left-clicking twice on the tree nodes) and wonder if that
should not be a widget to include in some form in NW.

Ok, this will be it for the next couple of weeks - I finished the assignment
and it works at least on Mozilla - bug fixing and extensions come later!

Have fun in Japan, I was there last year for a couple of months. Kyoto is
really nice!
