A few things I've noticed, not especially relevant to this issue.

In moz, the window widget with a file input form destroys itself after 
clicking close just fine.

In moz 1.8a, the window widget, when it's redrawn after being dragged, 
keeps increasing the x offset of the minimize-maximize-destroy buttons.

In Konqueror 3.2.2, after clicking a menu element to expand the menu, 
the browser highlights the text of that menu element and the newly shown 
menu as one moves the mouse over to it.

(Also, I didn't mean to re-mail that menu widget patch earlier, I had 
forgotten that mail to myself is filtered elsewhere and I assumed 
non-subscribers couldn't post when I didn't see it.)

Again, thanks for netwindows and sorry I can't be more help in tracking 
things down right now.
