wysiwyg editors

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has looked at integrating an existing wysiwyg
XHTML editor into netWindows?

I'm currently playing with Kupu (http://kupu.oscom.org). It's Moz/IE,
which is pretty rare, has an excellent feature set, BSD-ish license and
is already integrated into Zope/Plone.

At first glance the JS API is pretty nice and clean. Building a
netWindows wrapper widget to handle an inline constructor and expose
it's methods shouldn't be impossible, and a whole lot more maintainable
than a full-on recode.

Who knows, one day we might be able to write netWindows-enabled pages
from within netWindows. Phwoar.

Is anything similar being done? Any thoughts or pointers on the wrapper
approach?

Other wysiwyg contenders (well, there's tons, but most are IE-only or
have inappropriate licenses - I've looked at these in the past):

  - Bitflux - (http://bitfluxeditor.org). Full XML editor. Apache-style
license. Moz only. Class of its own, but might be overkill.

  - FCKeditor - (http://www.fckeditor.net/). Just checked site, and
version now in beta supports Moz (was IE-only), so might be worth
another look. LGPL, used in lots of projects.
