Re: Help with tests

For the time being, I think your best best is to download the latest  
tarball from the project's homepage and run the widget test pages from  
there. They ought to just work.

As I didn't recognize the addEnvFP() method being called, I thought  
that perhaps the test pages were just really really old. I've been  
working with the framework for a while and don't ever recall seeing  
this method before. That's why I suggested it was something new and  
just out of sync w/ someone's sandbox. As it turns out, it looks like  
those widget test pages are at least 2.5 years old.

I checked the docs and there's no info on a addEnvFP in  
http://netwindows.org/docs/manual_parts/ch03s10.html and when I went  
searching for the src files shown for the data_transfer_test widget, I  
found a match from way back in Oct. 3 2002  
(http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/netwindows/netWindows/docs/ 
widget_test_pages/data_transfer_test.html?rev=1.12&view=markup).

I think somehow the test pages have been over written with older  
versions.

Anyway, I don't have access to the web server to update this. Alex will  
have to update those test pages.

If you have any other questions though feel free to fire away. Oh, and  
as to example uses of the framework you'll have to just search the  
archives. Most of the places that it's getting used is in large  
products that are leveraging the power of the heavy lifting parts of  
the framework. None of them are public or external facing.
