Thx,

Another thing I would really like to do with netWindows is add the ability
to add and remove columns from a sort_data_table. Lets say I return 200 rows
of data with 20 columns. It would be really cool if I allowed the user to
select which columns are displayed in the sort_data_table. They might only
want 10 of my 20.

This might be achieved by launching a mover_box_widget from a button using
the to manipulate the columns. The addition to being able to select a column
name in the right list and having up and down buttons to move it up ( tto
the left in the table) or down (to the right in the table). Or maybe
capturing the onMouseDown over a column heading, then OnMouseMove, then
onMouseOver an adjacent column heading hightlight the colour of that heading
if onMouseUp then place to right of the highlighted column (or left if
moving towards the left). Being new to JavaScript not sure if this is
possible, but it is a thought. A separate button would persist the column
selections to the server.

Comment if this is possible or impossible.

a few notes from IE 6.0.3790.0 on Win 2003 Server. Not exhaustive.

1. data_transfer_test, the "load data" button fails to do anything. The
ERROR in the debugger - "failing constructor for: data"
2. ext_tree_loader just produces a html page, no widgets appear
3. sort_table_test theme fails to load debug windows has message "NO THEME
LOADED! Aborting!"
4. split_pane_test, again themes don't work, no debug window messages when
clicking on them, top pane has a grey horz. split bar, but the html file
referenced ../lorem_ipsum.html does not appear int he window ( I do have it
in the directory ). Not sure what the bottom pane is supposed to be
displaying right half is grey left is white, no movement of anything?

David

line 254 of winScripts/widgets/tabbed_pane_widget.js is the first place
to look.

Good catch. I'll add it to the build.xml. Thanks.
