javascript functions in window_test.html

I'm trying to run javascript functions inside the window that opens up 
in window_test.html. However, the call to 
NW_WIDGET_window_create_load_append() seems to ignore everything in the 
header of the "url" file.

Is there any way to run javascript inside  that window?
