Need help on ASYNC access to Oracle using OLEDB

I want to know how I can implement ASYNC access to oracle database using
OLEDB that gives me control over fetching the data from tables with large
data. 
 
I found an article "Tip, tricks and trap" for Oracle OLEDB provider in MSDN,
but was not helpful. 
 
As mentioned in the article, when I execute the command with
DBPROP_ROWSET_ASYNC set to DBPROPVAL_ASYNCH_BACKGROUNDPOPULATION, the call
succeeds with information saying that the DBPROP_ROWSET_ASYNC property is
not supported.
