Cancelling OLE DB operations

Hello,

I'm working on OLE DB library which provides access to database in separate
threads. I would like to be able to cancel some operations which are
performing in separate working threads from one "master" thread.
I'm looking for any example (or advice) how to cancel a very long operations
such as IRowset::RestartPosition(...).
I'm also looking for any examples showing how to "play" with OLE DB in threads.
